Story
A Story of Passion and Ideas
1986
The company is founded in Castello di Godego by the three Comacchio brothers.
1989
The first Comacchio drilling rig is born in a small barn on the family farm, repurposed into a workshop.
1992
Manufacturing moved to a workshop in the industrial area of Castello di Godego, on Enrico Fermi Street.
1997
Comacchio exports the first perforatice to Sweden, opening up to the international market.
1998-1999
Comacchio revolutionizes the industry with the introduction of the MC 1200 and radio technology applied to drilling rigs.
2003
A major turning point marked by the construction of a new factory and the relocation of the company to Riese Pio X.
2008
The headquarters in Riese Pio X is expanded to double its production space.
2015
Comacchio enters the large-diameter drilling business with the first CH 450.
2016
Comacchio inaugurates a new production facility in Castello di Godego.
2022
Comacchio becomes a joint stock company. A rebranding and generational transition begins.
2023
The expansion of the factory in Castello di Godego increases our total production space to 20,000 square meters.
2024
Renovation and expansion of the offices at our headquarters in the Riese Pio X.
