QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Our Integrated Quality and Environmental Policy governs every activity within the company, enabling us to deliver reliable, safe drilling rigs through sustainable, high-quality production. We achieve this by drawing on highly qualified personnel—whose ongoing training we continually support—and by partnering with carefully selected suppliers who work closely with our engineers to uphold strict quality standards and safeguard the environment throughout the entire supply chain. The excellence of our products and processes is verified by independent certification bodies. We have held ISO 9001 certification for more than 20 years, confirming the robustness of our quality-management system. In 2024, we added ISO 14001 certification, underscoring our commitment to environmental stewardship and the effectiveness of our environmental-management system. All company processes conform to these internationally recognized standards and are regularly updated to reflect the latest regulatory requirements.
AUTHORIZED ECONOMIC OPERATOR
Comacchio machines are at work every day on projects in more than 100 countries across every continent, supported by a robust global distribution network. This international reach has compelled us to develop specialized expertise in global trade compliance and in safeguarding imports and exports in line with customs regulations. Thanks to meticulous record-keeping, proven financial soundness, reliable customs procedures, and the competence of our in-house trade specialists, we earned Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status in 2025. Beyond streamlining logistics and shortening lead times, this prestigious certification strengthens our credibility with customers, partners, and government authorities alike, delivering concrete advantages throughout the European Union and in every country that recognizes the AEO program.
FURTHER CERTIFICATIONS
Our commitment to total quality has led us to certify our internal welding process in accordance with the standards set by two leading international authorities: the European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting (EWF) and the International Institute of Welding (IIW). As a result, we have obtained UNI EN ISO 3834-2:2021 certification, which specifies quality requirements for the welding of metallic materials. This achievement highlights our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and precision in a technical area that is essential to the strength and longevity of our machines. The same rigorous criteria apply to all welded components supplied to Comacchio by external partners, ensuring that every part—whether produced in-house or off-site—meets our strict quality and safety requirements.
