The MC 30 TX is a tunneling machine, designed for sub-horizontal consolidation works in tunnels using forepoling, jet grouting, and cement grout injection.
Due to the integrated mast rotation and positioning system, this machine covers a work radius from 2,250 mm to 5650 mm (with 5° mast inclination) with 6,950 mm maximum height. The innovative design of this machine also allows for it to be converted into a standard hydraulic drill rig for ground engineering works (micropiles, anchors,jet grouting). The MC 30 TX also includes as a standard feature the innovative Comacchio radio control system, which electronically manages all machine functions. The machine also features a touch screen PLC unit for the control and safety limitations of the mast positions, including software capable of storing information regarding the location of holes on the tunnel crown and automatically re-positioning the mast on the borehole.
